Shipping & Customs
Postage & Shipping Information
General: All shipping prices are sourced directly from Royal Mail — I don't add any markup on postage. Unfortunately, postage costs are what they are, but I always try to offer options to suit different budgets.
UK Shipping: All items are handmade to order. For UK orders, I strongly recommend choosing a signed and tracked service. If your parcel goes missing, Royal Mail can investigate and replace it much sooner with full tracking. With signed-only tracking, Royal Mail requires a full month to pass before any claim can be made — so tracked is always the safer choice.
International Shipping: International orders are sent via flat-rate shipping to keep costs down while maintaining quality. Tracked international shipping is available at checkout for an additional fee — it's more expensive, but gives you much greater peace of mind, especially for higher-value orders.
Time-Sensitive Orders If you need your order by a specific date — for example, before a holiday — please choose a tracked or express shipping option. I cannot guarantee delivery times on standard or second-class postage, and I'm unable to take responsibility for late deliveries if a slower service is selected.
Customs & Import Taxes: International buyers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees that may apply in their country. I'll do everything I can to ensure your order is packed and dispatched promptly, but delays caused by customs are outside my control.
In a Nutshell: Postage is an unavoidable cost, and I never profit from it. If speed and security matter to you, go tracked. If you're happy to wait a little longer and want to save money, the standard options are there for you.
